About Ashley Lewis
Currently studying ballet, jazz, modern, funk and hip-hop, Ashley began dance class at just 2 years old right here at Dance Dimensions. She continues to excel in her studies at the Joel Hall Dance Center in Chicago and has performed with their professional company — the Joel Hall Dancers — in their annual Nuts and Bolts performance.
Ashley has participated in many master classes and conventions including Chicago Dance Connection, Joel Hall Jazz Camp, DuPree Dance Expo, L.A. Dance Force and NYCDA — winning numerous scholarships and placing 1st and 2nd in competitions. Most recently, she has been invited to attend classes at Joel Hall Dance Center in Chicago on a full scholarship. Between high school poms, her studies at Dance Dimensions, and her classes in the city, Ashley has a plethera of dance information to share with all her students.
Ashley began assistant teaching at Dance Dimensions nearly five years ago and, under Ms. Kim's supervision, started teaching her own classes last season. Ashley's spirit and dedication are a great role model for all our younger students.
