About Samantha Arndt
Sam is a native of Bolingbrook and started dancing at the age of three. She has been a member of the Dance Dimensions family for 16 years! Her dance training includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and hiphop, as well as trained in gymnastics for five years. Sam has been a part of multiple dance companies throughout the Chicagoland area including: KineDanCo, Bolingbrook Park Dancers, the School of Performing Arts Ensemble and JHD 1511. Also, in high school she was a member of the Romeoville Varsity Poms. In 2005, Sam’s claim to fame was representing her town as Bolingbrook’s Junior Miss.
Sam graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign, where she received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Spanish, with a minor in Global Studies. Throughout her years at the U of I, she was a member of the nationally competitive Illini Dance Team and a member of the hiphop group, Dance2xs UIUC. Sam spent one year studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain where she had the opportunity to take dance classes from a local studio. Currently, Sam is choreographing competition routines for various high school dance teams. She is enjoying her new adventure of teaching and is excited to share her talents and knowledge with the new Dance Dimensions family!
